Eco Guardians of Ontario is planning a March around Queens Park (loop of Wellesley St. W, Queens Park Crescent West, Queens Park Crescent E.) on May 22nd from 9am to 3pm when the public hearing for bill 5 will be taking place.

Rally against Bill 5 in Guelph May 24th 1:30pm-2:30pm at the corner of Gordon and Wellington street meet at the covered bridge. Parking available beside the Boathouse. Ontario Rally and Vigil for Endangered Species

Join Wilderness Committee to stand up for species-at-risk and our shared natural ecosystems! They plan to take over Queen's Park to speak for the animals, plants and fungi the Ford government seems to think are expendable.

Ford’s proposed “Special Economic Zones Act, 2025” would allow the government to exempt entire areas - and companies operating in them - from virtually any provincial laws based on, including environmental protections, health standards, and local planning rules.

This law is unprecedented. No other legislation in Ontario or Canada gives a minister such sweeping power to override all provincial laws within handpicked zones.
